The Morning Swim Show: Dennis Pursley Talks About New Job in UK; Analysis of Potential Olympic Field in Men’s 100 Free

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 9. WEDNESDAY'S edition of The Morning Swim Show offers viewers the first interview with Dennis Pursley, who has been named the new head coach of British Swimming, and a look at the hot race for Olympic gold in the men's 100 freestyle.

Brent Rutemiller talks to Pursley about the job and why Pursley felt drawn to lead British Swimming to 2012, when London will host the Olympic Games. Pursley, who was once USA Swimming's national team director, said it was a difficult decision but the right one to make.

Swimming World senior writer John Lohn is back to talk about the race for the Olympic medals in the men's 100 free. With Americans Garrett Weber-Gale and Jason Lezak thrown in the mix, Lohn predicts the top eight swimmers will swim under 48 seconds to get into the final.
