Having taken more than three years to develop, the new Speedo suit is the result of the most detailed and advanced research project in elite swimwear design. The new Speedo swimsuit has been decades in the making as the brand celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.

The new ‘space age' suit is set to take the world of swimming by storm and will be Beijing-bound in August. It will officially debut in February 2008 when Speedo will stage a spectacular worldwide launch of the world's most technical swimsuit. According to swimming superstar Michael Phelps, "it feels like a space suit."
