South American Record for Gusmao in 50 Breaststroke

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil, May 28. BRAZIL'S Rebeca Gusmao clocked 31.30 in the short-course version of the 50 breaststroke to establish a South American record while competing this weekend at the Brazilian Winter Championships. She held the former record of 31.31. Gusmao will represent Brazil at the upcoming Pan American Championships.
