Swimming World Magazine “Embedded” in the NCSA All-American Meet in Hawaii

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, May 23. SWIMMING WORLD MAGAZINE will have an "embedded" reporter with the NCSA All-American Team during the trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, June 3-10.

"This is a great addition to this NCSA project," NCSA Project Manager Bob Gillett said. "It should be great fun for the swimmers, and everyone in the swimming world will enjoy reading, hearing and seeing all of the inside action during the week; from the actual swimming meet, to the swimmers' activities around Oahu and the happenings in the ‘All-American Village' at the University of Hawaii. The swimmers families, friends, coaches and teammates back home will be able to follow all the action."

Swimming World Magazine's managing editor Jason Marsteller will accompany the team from the assembly location in Los Angeles throughout the week. The plan is to report the action, using the extensive resources of SwimmingWorldMagazine.com, Swimming World Radio and SwimmingWorld.TV.

Later in the summer, a feature on the 2007 NCSA All-American Meet will appear in Swimming World Magazine. Swimming World Magazine is the world leader in swimming media and event coverage.

The NCSA All-American Meet will feature an East vs.West competition over two days, at 7:30 p.m. on June 7-8, Thursday and Friday, at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, in Waipahu, Hawaii. Each team has 19 women and 19 men, and four coaches.

The swimmers are some of the USA's best 18-and-under swimmers, who made the teams off their swims at the selection meet, the 2007 NCSA Junior National Swimming Championships that was held March 20-24, 2007, in Orlando, Fla.

Some of the featured up and coming swimmers will include Buddy Turner (AFOX), Cory Chitwood (Northern KY Clippers) the high point winner at Junior Nationals, Matt McLean (Curl Burke), Josh Hafkin (Rockville Montgomery), Adam Klein (Crescent City) and Brent Hitchcock (Dayton Raiders) .
