ANN ARBOR, Michigan, April 23. ACCORDING to a report by Craig Lord of SwimNews, the Mare Nostrum Series will receive a little more star power than normal when Michael Phelps takes part in the three-leg European tour this summer. In June, Phelps is scheduled to take part in the stops in Canet, France, Barcelona, Spain and Monte Carlo, Monaco.
The Mare Nostrum Series annually attracts some of the biggest European names in the sport, along with several headliners from around the world. In Phelps, the series attracted the best of the best. Phelps, of course, won seven gold medals at the World Championships in Melbourne, breaking five world records in the process.
