Swimming World Radio Speaks With Swimming World Magazine’s Female College Swimmer of the Week Caroline Bruce
PHOENIX, Arizona, January 26. STANFORD University junior Caroline Bruce led top-ranked Stanford to a 174-111 win over No. 11 USC in its final home dual meet of the season. That performance earned the 2004 Olympian Swimming World Magazine's Female College Swimmer of the Week accolades. The two-time NCAA champion, who also picked up Collegeswimming.com's Division I National Collegiate Female Swimmer of the Week kudos, took time out to speak with Swimming World Radio.
The Stanford win over USC moved the Cardinal just one victory away from its first unbeaten dual meet season since 2001-02. Bruce notched A-cut times in both the 100 breast (1:01.41) and the 200 breast (2:11.31) en route to the garnering the Swimmer of the Week citation.
