Kristy Kowal stayed on her rampage as she blasted the field in the 100 Breast with another American Record of 1:05.74. Second place was a tie between Staciana Stitts, who was a big part of Cal’s winning 200 Medley Relay, and Amy Balcerzak of Northwestern, both over a second back (1:07.79). Fourth went to Amanda Beard from AZ (1:06.95). Brook Monroe of Auburn finished fifth (1:07.22), and Kristin McGregor of USC and Ashley Roby of Georgia tied for sixth (1:08.25). Erin Eldridge of Wash.
