Maine Signs Little -- November 21, 2006
ORONO, Maine, November 21. UNIVERSITY of Maine women's swimming and diving team announced today that it has received a National Letter of Intent from Erin Little. She will join the Black Bears in the fall of 2007.
Erin Little currently swims at Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama. She is a versatile swimmer, competing in the IM, breaststoke and distance events. She also competes with the Birmingham Swim League.
"Anytime a person has a solid time in the 400 IM, you know that they will contribute to our team in a variety of ways," said head coach Jeff Wren. "We are impressed with her times and versatility, plus she really wanted to be a part of the swimming program at Maine. We look forward to having her join us in the fall and adding to our great work-out atmosphere."
