Swimming at the Dolfin Elite Showcase Classic in Clearwater, Florida Zoe Skirboll broke the 11-12 50 breaststroke National Age Group record. Twice.
The 12 year old from Racer X Aquatics stopped the clock in 29.18 this morning. That time took down the National Mark of 29.23 set by Olivia Anderson in 2010.
Skirboll returned at night to chop another four tenths off the mark. She raced to a 28.70 in finals.
The 100 breaststroke National Age Group mark could be on watch later this week as Skirboll enters this meet only a second off the 1:02.86 mark, also held by Anderson. With a half second drop in the 50, a full second in the 100 is a distinct possibility.
Skirboll also won the 50 free tonight, touching in 23.43 in that event.

She is so good! Well done Zoe.
