(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Nic Fink Gives Update on USA Breaststroke

Athens Bulldogs’ Nic Fink earned runner-up honors in the 100 breaststroke on the second night of the TYR Pro Swim Series Knoxville in a time of 1:00.61. He came in right behind new-teammate Andrew Wilson who finished in 1:00.57.

Fink described the swim as “solid,” after being about one second off his lifetime best from 2017 Nationals. After three weeks of intense winter training, he explained the importance of racing in January.

He also discussed swimming with Wilson and the whole Georgia post-graduate group. Fink said the environment is preparing him for the Pan-American Games and a loaded men’s breaststroke field in the United States.
