US Olympic Trials: Wave I Day Three Prelims Heat Sheets

The third morning of the 2021 US Olympic Trials Wave I will kick off at 11 a.m. EST from Omaha, Nebraska as the heats of the 400 free, 100 fly and 200 back will be contested. The top two swimmers in each event will advance to swim at the Wave II meet June 13 – 20 where the official Olympic team will be selected for the Tokyo Games that will start in 48 days.

Indiana’s Jacob Steele and Arizona State’s Liam Bresette have already qualified for the Wave II meet next week and have the top seeds on Sunday morning in the 200 back and 400 freestyle, respectively.

Ivy Leaguers Ellie Marquardt (Princeton) and Michael Zarian (Harvard) have the top seeds on the psych sheet in the 400 free and 100 butterfly, while Hannah Saiz leads the women’s 100 fly field and Megan Moroney is the top seed in the 200 backstroke.

Prelims will be streamed at usaswimming.org and at NBCOlympics.com.
