Toyota US Open Richmond: Virginia’s Best to Race at Split US Open
The Toyota US Open will be held next week November 12 – 14 from nine different locations with a compiled times report used to decide the official winners. Thus far, Richmond is the only site to have posted its psych sheet with many of the best swimmers training in Virginia and Pennsylvania set to attend.
The University of Virginia will be sending a strong contingent including Kate Douglass, Paige Madden and current freshmen Alex Walsh and Matt Brownstead. National junior team members Josh Matheny, Erin Gemmell and Torri Huske will also be in attendance as they all train either in Virginia or in neighboring states.
US national team member Jack Conger, who is currently training postgrad at Virginia, will also be in attendance at the meet.
