The Longhorns continue to lead the polls as we move into 2021. Both the men and women are ranked first in the CSCAA Division I Poll for January. The committee continues to consider all forms of competition (virtual, intrasquad and in-person) due to the inconsistent schedules forced by COVID.

Once again, Texas men get the unanimous nod for first. Georgia is second, again, breaking the tie with California in third. Unchanged, Texas A&M and Florida are in fourth and fifth respectively. Pennsylvania puts two new teams in the rankings with Pittsburgh at 22nd and Penn State at 24th.

On the women’s side, the top three positions remain the same. Texas is first for the second month in a row. Virginia is just six points back, in second. Georgia holds at third. Tennessee is up one spot into fourth and Michigan jumps from ninth to fifth this month, rounding out the top five. Penn State, Notre Dame and Louisiana State enter the polls this month at 17th, 18th and 25th, respectively.
