The long-awaited meet is here: the DI Women NCAA Swimming Championships. Starting today, March 15th, the Women competition gets started in Indianapolis to determine who will be crowned the 2017 NCAA Division I Champions!

Each March, the Swimming World staff publishes its NCAA Swimming Championship predictions for the team title. This year, the prohibitive favorite for the women’s meet is the Stanford Cardinal. Last year the Cardinal lost a heart-breaker when they were disqualified in the women’s 200 free relay, costing them 40 points. Georgia would later end up winning the meet and the team title by 19 points over second-place Stanford.

However, Greg Meehan has re-loaded his Stanford 2017 team like none other. The Cardinal add freshman and two-time Olympian Katie Ledecky, return red-shirts Simone Manuel (sprint free) and Kassidy Cook (diver), and bring back more point-scorers than the rest of the competition!
