Shaine Casas Discusses 100 Back National Title (VIDEO INTERVIEW)

Shaine Casas has had an outstanding meet at the 2019 Phillips 66 US National Championships, touching second in the 200 back and first in the 100 back. In both races he has cut time and improved upon his races. While it was a bittersweet moment to finish second in the 200 back, Casas couldn’t hide back a smile at the 1:55 he finished with.

When asked if his performances at this year’s National Championships are making him excited for the upcoming NCAA season, Casas readily agreed and mentioned that it makes him want to revisit his goals for the upcoming season.

Outside of the pool, Casas added that he likes to play videogames, but that he also studies a lot.
