North Korean Synchro Officials Barred From Japan

YOKOHAMA, Japan, September 14. ACCORDING to the Mainichi Daily News, Japanese officials allowed only 10 North Koreans to enter the country for the FINA Synchronized Swimming World Cup in Yokohama, Japan.

Overall, 13 North Koreans attempted to enter the country for the event, but Japan barred the head coach, the team manager and the team interpreter from attending the competition because of the North Korean missile launches on July 5.
