Australia’s Kyle Chalmers blasted the meet record in the men’s 100-meter free finals at the 2015 FINA World Junior Championships.

Chalmers raced his way to a sizzling 48.47 to crush the 48.87 set by Pedro Spajari yesterday.

That swim moved Chalmers up to 17th in the world rankings, and smashed his previous season best of 48.69 that led all 18-and-unders.
