Haley Anderson, Jordan Wilmovsky Snag Distance Titles at Los Angeles Invite
Haley Anderson posted a time of 8:42.74 to win the women’s 800-meter free during night one of the Los Angeles Invite. Brittany Kampfer turned in a final time of 8:54.82 for second, while Riley Spitser was third with a time of 8:55.67.
Jordan Wilmovsky claimed the win in the men’s 1500-meter free with a swift 15:34.98, finishing 8.17 seconds ahead of the competition. Ted Singley was second overall with a time of 15:43.15, while Michael Bringer rounded out the top three with a final time of 15:43.42.
The relay team of Elise Garcia (26.69), Emily Eastin (27.23), Ella Eastin (26.99) and Aislinn Light (27.01) from SoCal Aquatics Association won the women’s 200-meter free relay with a swift 1:47.92. Aces Swim Club took second with a time of 1:50.36, while Neptune Swimming finished third with a 1:51.01.
Andrew Poznikoff (24.07), Justin Kiedrzyn (23.95), Ben Berg (23.34) and Daniel Kilmaster (24.89) from Simon Fraser Aquatics posted a winning time of 1:36.25 in the men’s 200-meter free relay. Life Time Arizona Swim Team was second with a 1:37.70, while Rose Bowl Aquatics took third overall with a time of 1:37.85.
Trojan Swim Club’s Anika Apostalon, Jessica Hardy, Hannah Weiss and Evan Swanson posted a time of 1:54.10 to win the women’s 200-meter medley relay. Buenaventura Swim Club took second with a 2:03.34, while Aces Swim Club was third with a 2:03.83.
Luca Spinazzola (25.87), Azad Al-barazi (28.11), Jonathan Knox (24.89) and David Morgan (23.15) of Trojan Swim Club posted a combined 1:42.02 to win the men’s 200-meter medley relay. Simon Fraser Aquatics turned in a time of 1:48.06 for second, while Aces Swim Club finished third with a 1:52.41.
