Heat sheets for tonight’s finals session at the 2017 NCAA Division 1 Women’s Championships have been posted. Stanford is the number one seed in the 200 free relay where they broke the eight-year-old American Record. Their other top seed is freshman Katie Ledecky in the 500 free, where she set the American Record at the Pac-12 Championships a few weeks ago.
Madisyn Cox of Texas and Liz Li of Ohio State are both top seeds in their events as Cox will look to win Texas’ first 200 IM title since 1989 and Li will look to be Ohio State’s second ever national champion in the pool on the women’s side in the 50. The 400 medley relay will conclude the night as California will be the top seed, but expect teams like Georgia, Louisville, Texas A&M and Stanford to challenge behind them.
