FAIRFAX – Andrew Seliskar took down the 17-18 U.S. National Age Group record in the men’s 200-yard breast last night at the Potomac Valley Championships, and Swimming World reader Dave Bell was on hand to capture footage of the swim.

Andrew Seliskar of Nation’s Capital remained on fire at the Potomac Valley Championships with his second 17-18 U.S. National Age Group mark in two days.

Yesterday, Seliskar moved to fourth all time in the men’s 400-yard IM with a time of 3:37.52 for the 17-18 U.S. National Age Group record.

Tonight, Seliskar vaulted to fifth all time in the men’s 200-yard breast with a scorching 1:51.57.

Seliskar split the race 25.43, 54.15 (28.72), 1:22.68 (28.53) and 1:51.57 (28.89) for the incredible time.

That swim eclipsed his own 17-18 NAG of 1:52.21 from last year, and moved him up to fifth all time.

Seliskar returned later in the evening to win the men’s 500-yard freestyle finale in 4:16.17. That performance cleared a Michael Phelps pool record from the facility.
