Virginia Tech Lands Verbal Commit from Polish Sprinter Natalia Fryckowska

The Virginia Tech Hokies added a verbal commitment from Natalia Fryckowska for the Class of 2022. Fryckowska is from Szczecin, Poland where she swims for Jerzy Troszczynski.

Fryckowska told Swimming World,

“I’ve chosen Virginia Tech because here you are surrounded by people who “lift your little wings up”, because among such people you can boost yourself and make progress. I know that Virginia Tech has one of the best coaches in the USA, and I’m exicted about the upcoming class of 2018! We’re going to rock it girls! I’m really excited about my future teammates too. I feel I have the necessary energy to work with them! I really can’t wait to be a Hokie! Be ready, because VT class of 2018 is going to be amazing! GO HOKIES!”

Fryckoswka’s is a sprinter. Some of her best times are (SCM/LCM/SCY converted from SCM):

  • 50 Free- 25.07/ 25.84/ 22.48
  • 100 Free- 55.36/ 56.85/ 49.78
  • 200 Free- 2:07.89/ 2:10.35/ 1:55.42
  • 50 Breast- 32.03/ 33.16/ 28.80
  • 50 Fly- 27.46/ 27.94/ 25.14

Fryckowska joins a very international class that will head to Blacksburg next fall. Also from Europe will be Julia Bruneau and Loulou Vos, joining in state talents Abby Larson and Alex Slayton.
