MESA, Arizona, April 25. MICHAEL Nunan didn’t put on the blinders in the prelim of the 200 freestyle of the Arena Grand Prix in Mesa, Ariz., hoping to say that he could at least beat Ryan Lochte to 15 meters off the start.

While Nunan fully recognized that Lochte was not swimming at full speed this morning, just being in the Olympic medalist’s heat gave Nunan a little bit of a boost to put together what he called in this video interview “a good training swim.”
