TYR Renews Partnership with U.S. Masters Swimming, Will Be Title Partner of College Club Champs

TYR has renewed its partnership with U.S. Masters Swimming, the organization announced on Tuesday. It includes TYR becoming the title sponsor of the College Club Swimming National Championships, starting this year.

The sponsorship agreement is extended through 2026. It includes product discounts to U.S. Masters Swimming members and college club swimmers as well as support of events for both organizations. The annual college club championships will become the TYR College Club Swimming National Championships, the first edition of which will be held April 5-7 in Indianapolis this year.

“College Club Swimming members are the future of U.S. Masters Swimming, so we’re excited to help them enjoy swimming while in college today and provide them opportunities to keep swimming once they’ve graduated,” U.S. Masters Swimming CEO Dawson Hughes said in a press release. “This partnership with TYR will provide them another member benefit and provide College Club Swimming with the support and visibility it needs as it continues to grow.”

College Club Swimming launched as the umbrella organization in 2017 for club teams on college campuses. It now counts 8,500 members among 195 clubs at schools across the country. Some 1,600 are expected to descend on the IU Natatorium in April in an event that is steadily growing. U.S. Master’s Swimming has been a partner for College Club Swimming, providing infrastructure, registration help, club and individual contacts and a times database. It’s an entrée to USMS’s network of more than 70,000 members and 2,000 clubs across the country.
