The Morning Swim Show, Nov. 12, 2010: Thiago Pereira on World Cup Tour, Getting Ready for 2012

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 12. THIAGO Pereira just returned to the United States after circling the globe on the FINA World Cup series, and on today's edition of The Morning Swim Show, he talks about the highs and lows that came with his $100,000 grand prize.

Though he was glad to have the support of the Brazilian swimming federation, Pereira said the travel was tiring, which is one reason why he's skipping next month's short course world championships. He wants to win an Olympic medal in the individual medleys next year, and he knows training in Los Angeles under Dave Salo could help him get there.
