The Morning Swim Show, Dec. 16, 2010: Nick Silverthorn Relives Experience of Setting Two National Age Group Records … and Losing One a Week Later

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 16. NICK Silverthorn joins The Morning Swim Show after an emotional two weeks of setting two national age group records one day before turning 15.

Silverthorn talks about the experience of breaking Ian Crocker's record in the 200 free for the 13-14 age group and Michael Phelps' age group mark in the 400 IM at senior nationals. The experience of setting the 400 IM record is most interesting, and he talks about swimming the race in a virtually empty pool. The record was short-lived, as he watched it get broken a week later at the junior nationals. Watch the full show in the video player below and visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
