Stanford Captures Sears Directors’ Cup

Stanford scored 1,084.5 points en route to its third Sears Directors’ Cup title in as many years. In addition to winning a record six NCAA titles in men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s tennis, the Cardinal placed second in women’s and men’s swimming; third in women’s basketball and fencing; fourth in women’s golf and baseball; sixth in men’s gymnastics; and ninth in men’s basketball.
