The U.S. junior squad was in fine form on the second day of competition at the Irish Open, winning all eight events and sweeping the top three places in many of them. Two of Ireland’s young talents had great days at the National Aquatic Centre, setting two national junior records in the 50 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Swimming World’s Jeff Commings filmed all 22 races from Friday’s finals and provided commentary for each event.

Each race is now available for on-demand viewing on our 2015 Irish Open event landing page! The highlight video of the day is the second semifinal of the men’s 100 breaststroke, where American Ethan Browne dropped a second in his lifetime best to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Trials.
