The California Golden Bears took a huge lead after day two of the NCAA Division I Women’s Championships after an amazing day that featured several NCAA and American records. This morning told the tale of who will win tonight, likely California.

California leads Georgia by a whopping 383.5-299.5 margin following the second day of competition.

Stanford (264), Virginia (168) and Texas A&M (153.5) comprise the rest of the top five.

With the 1650 free and platform diving still to go, California managed to offset the bulk of the typically monster day three Georgia tends to have with each team claiming six A and three B final swims.

Swimming World photographer Peter Bick is in Greensboro capturing the entire scene.
