Gust Kouvaris, Bobby Powrie and Mark Blinstrub talk about putting together a great swim with Joe Krause that broke the state record and ranked seventh nationwide among high school teams. Brother Rice was already in line to win the boys’ state title in Michigan, but putting up a strong time was their way of putting a stamp on the meet. They talk about wanting to take the record even lower next year, and what it will take to break the magical 3:00 barrier. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
