Hendrick’s lecture focused on a side of competitive swimming program that most clinics don’t deal with, and though Hendrick’s talk dealt with Masters swimming, he said the topics and lessons could apply to age-group programs. He talks about the challenges facing various teams, whether operating from a public facility or a private pool, and how to get a team started. He also discusses running his own team in Fort Lauderdale, and how his work has guided the squad to a Masters national title last summer.
