Klim Strikes It Rich

Less than two months after winning four gold medals at the World Championships in Perth, Australia’s Michael Klim–Swimming World’s “1997 World Swimmer of the Year,” continues to rake in the gold.

The Aussie superstar has recently signed contracts worth almost AUS$2.5 million (about US$1.7 million). The biggest contracts have come from Atari, the Japanese computer games company ($1 million) and Australia’s TV Channel 9 ($1 million).
