MIAMI BEACH, Florida, November 12. ONE of the United States top young Olympic swimmers, Christine Magnuson, will endorse Cirrus Healthcare's BioEars and ClearEars to the American swim community.
The deal, which was reached by Arluck Promotion's David Arluck and Trevor Joelson, will feature the Olympic double medalist on packaging, in appearances and in print advertising to share the product benefits of Cirrus Healthcare's swim specific products.
Currently training and living in Tucson, Arizona, Magnuson uses BioEars and ClearEars as part of her regular regimen.
"BioEars allows me to take the precautionary measures necessary to protect my ears when in the water said Magnuson. "I use ClearEars to remove trapped water from my ears following practices or big meets. As a swimmer, you always have to be conscious about ear health."
Magnuson was awarded the 2009 Southeastern Conference Scholar Athlete of the year for her accomplishments in the pool and the classroom, where she studied exercise science.
"I have always been fascinated by how the body works. Cirrus Healthcare has taken a similar interest and created products that help protect our auditory senses," added the Olympian.
Cirrus Healthcare Products is the World's leading manufacturer of innovative ear care products which are distributed throughout the world. Other products include EarPlanes and Kids EarPlanes which are unique, patented, pressure regulating earplugs that provide relief for the millions of air travelers who suffer ear discomfort when flying.
Known for her prowess as a butterfly swimmer, Magnuson burst onto the scene in 2009 winning an individual NCAA Championship in the 100y butterfly and following it up just months later with a silver medal in the 100m butterfly and the 4x100m medley relay.
According to Drew E. O'Connell, CEO of Cirrus, "having a swimmer as successful, both academically and athletically, as Christine representing our brands is very exciting for us at Cirrus. Her endorsement will help us to highlight the benefits of our innovative products, ClearEars and BioEars, to swimmers throughout the country who are concerned about the health of their ears."
