Inclement Weather Impacts Early College Conference Championships

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 12. WITH much of the country getting hit by inclement weather yet again this weekend, a trio of college conferences will be altering their meet schedules.

The Southern Athletic Association Championships, taking place at the Birmingham Crossplex this weekend, will push back a day with the event now taking place Friday-Sunday. This is the least impacted of the three conferences, as no change to the actual event schedule will take place.

Meanwhile, Bluegrass Mountain Conference and the University Athletic Association will be packing their meets into smaller time frames. Bluegrass is making the 500 free, 200 IM and 50 freestyle events timed finals for a three day meet, while the UAA is stuffing its meet into two days Friday-Saturday.
