Gregorio Paltrinieri Blasts Grant Hackett’s 1500 SCM Free Record at Euros

The 2015 European Short Course Championships featured back-to-back world records. Just minutes after Katinka Hosszu broke the 100 IM mark, Gregorio Paltrinieri lowered the men’s 1500-meter free mark set by Grant Hackett back in 2001.

Paltrinieri threw down a sizzling time of 14:08.06 to break Hackett’s 14-year-old record of 14:10.10.
