Five-Star Kristine Polley Staying South

MARIETTA, Georgia, November 11. SWIMMING World five-star recruit Kristine Polley has made her choice on a collegiate destination.

Polley, who swims for Stingrays Swimming and preps at Sprayberry, is heading to Florida State. Polley owns U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100-meter breast (1:12.26) and 200-meter breast (2:31.86). She also has cleared the NCAA Division I B cut in the 200-yard breast (2:14.79).

"It was a really hard decision because I liked all the schools I visited," Polley told Swimming World. "But, in the end, I felt like the coaches, team, academics and great facilities at FSU were the best fit for me. I'm excited about the future of FSU swimming and I can't wait to be a part of it!"

Polley, who was featured in the College Recruit Rankings Profile series, joins three-star Jamie Barrett as a public pledge to Florida State.
