Fit to Be Tied … Twice

RACINE, WI, January 23. Coach Dave Hoeffert of Racine Horlick High School sure knows how to play them tight, as reported by coaching peer Neil Wright of Racine Seay.

On Tuesday two weeks ago Hoeffert led his boys high school team against Kenosha Tremper High School. When all was done each side had scored 93…a 93-93 tie.

This week Horlick was in the rivalry mode, meeting cross-town school Racine Case High School. You know how they say a tie is like kissing your sister? We don’t know how many of Coach Hoeffert’s charges have sisters, but they are certainly developing an understanding of the experience. You guessed it. Horlick 93; Case 93.

Every Horlick swimmer is certainly learning the lesson that every person, every point, every swing can be important.
