AUSTIN, Texas, March 30. THE Texas Longhorn head coach Eddie Reese tips his cap to California's incredible final day surge at the NCAA Division I Men's Championships.

Reese explains that the bulk of the Longhorns' issues came from too many ninth-place finishes in prelims, what he calls the "death seat" because you typically never win the B final after qualifying ninth overall.

Reese also takes responsibility for Jack Conger's lack of performance, and believes that he's going to have an awesome summer.
