CSCAA Rates D-II, D-III and D-I (Mid-Majors)

SOMERS, WI, January 19. IN addition to Division I polls, the College Swim Coaches Association of America also produces power point ratings several times a year for Division II, Division III, and Mid-Majors out of Division I.

The ratings from the end of the Fall season show North Dakota and Emory leading both the men and women standings for D-II and D-III, respectively. Eastern Michigan and East Carolina lead the respective mid-major lists.

Mid-Major Designation
Mid-Major institutions are those Division I conferences (and independents) that do not benefit from large television contracts or revenue from football or basketball. Institutions from the following conferences are eligible for the Mid-Major designation: America East, Atlantic 10, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, C-USA, EISL, Horizon League, Metro Atlantic, Mid-America, Mid-Continent, Midwest, Mid-eastern, Missouri Valley, Mountain West, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Sun Belt, Western Athletic, and West Coast.
