ASU Swimming and Diving Announces Next Session of Community Outreach

TEMPE, Ariz., October 3. THE Arizona State swimming and diving program announced Thursday the dates for its spring session of the Sun Devil Aquatic School, a program that reaches out to the community offering swimming and diving lessons to all ages.

The spring dates are April 9 through April 30 with all sessions being conducted at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center located on ASU's main campus. The fall session concluded Saturday, October 2.

The Sun Devil Aquatic School is a program designed for children and adults of all levels of swimming and diving abilities to be able to achieve attention from some of the most accomplished athletes and coaches in the country. The school is supervised by the ASU coaching staff with all instructors being members of the swimming and diving program who have previous experience in instruction. The school has a swimmer/diver to instructor ratio of 3:1 per class and gives highly individualized attention to all children and adults wishing to improve their skills.

More information is available over the phone at 480-965-5661. The cost of the Sun Devil Aquatic School is $55 per participant for the entire session (swimming or diving) or $100 to sign up for two lessons (swimming and diving).
