Israel Sending Four Swimmers to Short Course World Champs -- October 1, 2004

JERUSALEM, October 1. FOUR Israeli swimmers, headed by veteran Miki Halika, will take part in the vii FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana, October 7-11.

The four are:

* Former University of Texas swimmer and world-ranked individual medleyist Miki Halika.

* Former University of Minnesota breaststroker, Dov Melnik.

* Former Georgia Tech. All-American long distance standout, Shilo Ayalon, and

* Auburn University freshman freestyler, Shai Livnat.

The four will be coached by Israeli Olympic coach, Leonid Kaufman.
