Gulf Swimming Hosts Swimposium with Olympian Colleen Lanne

HOUSTON, TX, September 27. GULF Swimming hosted its 2004 Swimposum Saturday at the University of Houston, per reports from Robert Kelly, the Gulf Swimming LSC Media and Press Coordinator.

The two swimmer clinics were held with the 12 and under swimmers in the morning and the 13 and over swimmers in the afternoon. A total of 212 swimmers were registered for both clinics.

2004 Olympian Colleen Lanne, a prelim contributor to the United States 400 meter freestyle relay team that won a silver medal in Athens, was the clinician for the event. Colleen talked to the swimmers about her experiences at the Games, her swimming career, and passed her Olympic medal around for all to see. In addition, she conducted a stroke and technique clinic for all swimmers in attendance."
