MESA, AZ July 26 NINE locations will host 2004 Summer SPEEDO Champion Series events across three different weekends. The first six meets have just finished. This note highlights the top efforts in Ft. Lauderdale.

In Ft. Lauderdale the largest portion of the top swims came from foreign athletes, many of whom are putting the final touches on their preparation before Athens.
Poleskas 200 was probably the most outstanding swim, only one and one-third seconds from her June effort that qualified for the German team.
