Wilkinson Takes All-American 3-meter Title -- January 7, 1999

AUSTIN, TX - University of Texas junior Laura Wilkinson (Spring, Texas / Klein HS) overcame an 11-point deficit midway through the finals of the three-meter competition, but scored well on her final three dives to post a winning score of 530.80 points Wednesday night at the All-American Diving Invitational at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center's Browning Diving Pool on the UT campus. Miami senior Rio Ramirez won the men's one-meter title, outpointing UT freshman Troy Dumais (Ventura, Calif. / Buena HS), 604.20-585.20.
