Former Washington State Swimmer Lindsay Henahan Heads to Olympic Trials -- July 3, 2004

PULLMAN, Wash., July 4 - Washington State University recently announced that former Cougar swimmer Lindsay Henahan, who achieved All-American status in 2003, will take part in the United States Olympic Trials at Long Beach, Calif., July 7-14.

Henahan is one of 76 swimmers competing in the 100 meter butterfly. The Rochester, N.Y., native earned All-American status in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championships last season.

During her junior season at WSU, Henahan set the Gibb Pool record in the 100 fly, and she set the school record in the event as a senior.
