Kristine Quance Has Baby -- December 31, 1998

Congratulations to 1996 U.S. Olympian Kristine Quance-Julian and hubby, Jeff Julian. As of December 9, they are the proud parents of Trenton Jeffrey Julian. Trenton weighed in at 7 lbs. 5 oz and was 21 inches tall at birth.

There's no word yet as to which stroke Trenton will specialize in, but we're betting on butterfly. Dad was an All-American 200 flyer at USC and mom has a best of 2:09 in the 200m fly.

Kristine is planning on resuming her training next month for the 2000 Olympic Games at Trojan Swim Club under coach Mark Schubert.
