Flash! Georgina Bardach Sets South American Record in 400 IM.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil, May 6. IN an outstanding performance, the Pan American Champion Georgina Bardach, of Argentina, obliterated her own record in the 400 IM at the Brazilian Nationals and Olympic Trials.

She clocked 4.40.92, erasing her 4.43.40 from Santo Domingo. With her record she would have earned bronze medal in Barcelona 2003.

Georgina is coached by Hector Sosa and she often does her altitude training at near 4000 m in Humahuaca, Jujuy Province, Argentina.
