NCAA Transactions -- October 30, 1998

Head swim coaches - Adelphi chose Linda Jelovich as head men's and women's coach. Jelovich was an assistant during the the 1997-98 season. Ursinus selected Tammy John as men's and women's head coach. Richard Crane was chosen as head women's swimming and diving coach at Western Connecticut.

Assistant swim coaches - Purdue hired Tim Kelly as a men's assistant. For the past three years, Kelly has coached at the Curl-Burke Swim Club in Damascus, Maryland. Keiichiro Yoshida was chosen as the assistant men's and women's coach at Kutztown, replacing Chris Gally. American added Steve Schadt as an assistant. Schadt has been a men's assistant coach at California.
