ESPN Will Televise World Cup Swimming -- October 19, 1998

USA Swimming announced that ESPN will televise the FINA World Cup (December 1 and 2) in College Station, Texas.

The 1 hour tape-delayed broadcast will be the 6th time this year that a swimming competition has been televised (previous 5: 1998 World Championships, 1998 NCAA Men's Championships, 1998 NCAA Women's Championships, 1998 Goodwill Games, 1998 US Nationals).
