Armstrong Re-retires -- October 13, 1998

Australia's Duncan Armstrong, 30, 1988 Olympic champ, has decided to re-retire, after announcing he would make a comeback for Sydney 2000. Armstrong was hoping to earn a spot on the Aussie 800 free relay team, which will probably be a heavy favorite for the gold 2 years from now.
