Terrorist Victim Was Teenage Daughter of Israeli Olympic swimmer -- March 6, 2003

HAIFA, Israel, March 6. ONE of the fifteen people killed in yesterday's vicious terrorist bombing on a crowded bus in the Israeli city of Haifa was the 17 year-old daughter of an Israeli Olympic swimmer.

Tal Kerman was the oldest daughter of Ron Kerman, a former Israeli national champion, an Olympic swimmer, a Masters swimmer and a former swimmer at Ohio State University under Coach Dick Sloan.

SwimInfo sends its condolences to the Kerman family as well as the familes, both Israeli and American of the other 14 victims -- mostly high school and college students -- of this brutal and cowardly attack.
